Burkina Faso : 40 tonnes de drogues incinérées à Ouagadougou

En marge de la 38ᵉ Journée internationale contre l’abus et le trafic illicite de drogue, le Comité national de lutte contre la drogue (CNLD), à travers son Secrétariat permanent (SP-CNLD), a procédé à une opération d’incinération contrôlée de drogues saisies, le 6 janvier 2026 à Ouagadougou. Selon le Secrétaire permanent du CNLD, l’inspecteur de police Emanoël Kaboré, cette opération s’est déroulée dans le strict respect des normes environnementales et sécuritaires. Elle vise à éliminer définitivement le risque de réintroduction des stupéfiants dans les circuits illicites, à limiter la pollution incontrôlée et à envoyer un message dissuasif clair aux trafiquants et aux réseaux criminels. Au total, 39 137,98 kilogrammes de drogues, soit près de 40 tonnes, ont été détruits.
