Tinubu insists security reforms will yield results, backs state, community policing

President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that ongoing reforms in the country’s security architecture will soon produce visible results and restore public confidence. CDS, COAS urge North West troops to stay vigilant amid festive strikes

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, and Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, have urged troops of Operation Fansan Yamma in the North West to maintain high vigilance during the festive season. Troops kill terrorists, seize arms and stolen livestock in nationwide raids

The Nigerian Army says its troops have killed terrorists, arrested suspected gunrunners and recovered weapons and stolen livestock in multiple coordinated operations across the country.
