Gov Yusuf quit Kwankwasiya, not NNPP – party founder

Founder of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Dr Boniface Aniebonam, says Kano Governor Abba Yusuf has resigned only from the Kwankwasiya Movement and not from the NNPP itself. He reacted after media reports that Yusuf had dumped the party along with several lawmakers and council chairmen in Kano.​ Aniebonam argued that the governor’s resignation letter was not addressed to the authentic NNPP National Working Committee (NWC) led by Dr Agbo Major, nor to any recognised party officer. NELFUND funds 5,613 OOU students as 1,270 more apply – VC

Vice Chancellor of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, Prof Ayodeji Agboola says funds for 5,613 OOU students who applied for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) have already been deposited into the university’s bank account and are ready for disbursement.
