Russia Launches Largest Aerial Assault of Ukraine War, Striking Kyiv Government Building
Russia has launched its largest aerial assault since the start of the Ukraine war, deploying more than 800 drones overnight into Sunday and striking a government building in Kyiv for the first time. An infant was among at least two people killed in drone strikes on residential buildings in the capital, which endured 11 hours under air-raid sirens, city officials reported. Across Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed four deaths and 44 injuries. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Moscow launched 810 drones, four ballistic missiles, and nine cruise missiles. While most were intercepted, 54 drones and nine missiles hit targets nationwide.
