As President John Mahama’s new administration takes shape, frustration is brewing in Ashaiman, where youth loyal to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) feel sidelined despite their unwavering support for the party since 1992.On Thursday, a group of angry youth stormed the office of Constituency Chairman Shaddad Umar Jallo, smashing glass doors and burning tires in protest. They initially planned to block the Accra-Tema motorway but were persuaded by party leaders to stand down.Their main grievance is the lack of appointments from Ashaiman, despite campaign promises made by Mahama and top NDC officials.
