Nigeria, China renew pledge to strengthen partnership
Nigeria and China have reaffirmed their commitment to deepen cooperation in trade, infrastructure, culture, and global development as both countries marked significant national milestones. The pledge was made during a reception in Lagos to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and 56 years of diplomatic ties with Nigeria. Jaafaru Yakubu, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on China-Nigeria Parliamentary Relations, praised the strategic partnership, noting its impact on infrastructure, education, technology, and cultural exchanges.
