Tima Kumkum Leads G6PD Awareness Drive in Canada
The Tima Kumkum Foundation, in partnership with the SYA Black Empowerment Network (Canada), hosted a G6PD awareness program on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at St. Matthias Anglican Church in Toronto, Etobicoke, Canada. The event brought together participants from diverse backgrounds eager to learn about Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, its risks, and effective management strategies. Tima Kumkum’s Mission Ghanaian media personality and philanthropist Tima Kumkum traveled from Ghana to lead the conversation. She explained that her foundation’s core mission is to raise global awareness of G6PD deficiency.
