GCB Bank Empowers Visually Impaired with 100 White Canes Donation.

As part of its corporate social responsibility, GCB Bank has donated 100 white canes to the Ghana Blind Union (GBU). The gesture coincides with International White Cane Safety Day, commemorated annually to highlight the importance of white canes in promoting independence for visually impaired individuals.During the presentation, Patricia Kwasi-Kumah, Head of Corporate Affairs for GCB Bank, emphasized the bank's commitment to fostering inclusivity. "This donation reflects our belief in community and inclusivity. Supporting the GBU is just the beginning of a partnership aimed at empowering visually impaired individuals to achieve their potential," she noted.Ghana Blind Union, which boasts a membership of over 10,500 people across 143 branches, expressed deep appreciation for the donation.
