Michael Aidoo gives 120 students full scholarships
Council of State member and Western North NDC Regional Chairman, Michael Aidoo, has awarded full scholarships to 120 brilliant but needy students in the Western North Region to study at Kaaf University in the Gomoa East District. Mr. Aidoo, who is also the founder of Kaaf University, said the initiative is part of his commitment to reducing illiteracy and poverty, especially in rural communities where many young people lack access to higher education. He expressed concern that without such support, many youth turn to alcoholism and other negative behaviors, which hinder their future prospects. He urged the scholarship recipients to remain focused on their studies and avoid social vices that could derail their progress. Some of the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and promised to work hard to justify the opportunity given to them.
