Tinubu to new service chiefs: Nigerians want results, not excuses
President Bola Tinubu has charged Nigeria’s newly appointed service chiefs to deliver concrete results in the fight against insecurity, stressing that excuses will no longer be tolerated. Speaking at the decoration ceremony for the new military leaders at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Tinubu said Nigeria is “in a hurry to celebrate peace” and urged them to act decisively against emerging threats in the North-Central, North-West, and parts of the South. “We must not allow these new threats to fester. We must be decisive and proactive. Let us smash the new snakes right in the head,” he said.
