NDC Raises Concerns Over Voter Irregularities in Upper East Region.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper East Region has accused the Electoral Commission (EC) of irregularities in the voter register. The party claims that 5,138 voter names have been duplicated in the EC's register for the region. In addition, the NDC alleges that 334 voters from other areas have had their voter registrations transferred to the Pusiga constituency without their consent. The party views this as a potential sign of manipulation in the voter data. Donatus Akamugre, the Upper East Regional Secretary of the NDC, expressed concern over these issues, accusing the EC of compromising the integrity of the electoral process.
