Tarkwa Court Remands Two Over Aboso Acid Attack
The Tarkwa District Magistrate Court has remanded two individuals into prison custody in connection with a violent acid attack that occurred in Aboso, Tarkwa Municipality, in August 2024. The attack, which left the victim with severe facial injuries, has shocked the community and triggered a widespread police investigation to track down a third suspect who remains at large. According to the Western Central Regional Police Command, the incident began when the first suspect confronted the victim at Aboso Mandelinde Junction, pushing him from behind and sparking a scuffle.
