Greenland PM tells Trump ‘enough is enough’
Greenland’s Prime Minister Jens Frederik Nielsen has firmly rejected renewed threats from U.S. President Donald Trump about annexing the autonomous Arctic territory. In a strongly worded message on Facebook, he said “that’s enough now” and called for an end to pressure, insinuations and what he described as fantasies about taking over Greenland. Nielsen stressed that Greenland is open to dialogue with the United States but only on the basis of mutual respect and international law. He insisted that Greenland’s future must be decided by its own people, not by external powers, and warned that talk of annexation has no place between friends and partners.
