The United States Embassy in Accra has inaugurated a new EducationUSA Centre in Osu, Accra, to provide Ghanaian students with support in pursuing higher education in the United States. The facility, launched on November 27, 2024, becomes the second of its kind in Ghana, complementing the existing centre in Kumasi.The EducationUSA Centre, part of a global network spanning 170 countries, offers guidance on US higher education, including student visa processes, application assistance, and workshops for test preparation.US Commitment to EducationVirginia Palmer, the US Ambassador to Ghana, emphasized the centre’s role in enhancing educational and cultural exchanges between the two nations. She highlighted Ghana’s growing interest in US education, ranking 18th globally in sending students to the US.
