Croissance urbaine : Former des experts pour maîtriser l’avenir des villes africaines

Face à une urbanisation galopante souvent mal encadrée, l’Afrique fait face à des défis majeurs : pression démographique, insalubrité, crises sanitaires, catastrophes naturelles, déplacements forcés… Pour y répondre durablement, le Togo mise sur un levier essentiel : la formation de professionnels qualifiés en urbanisme et en architecture . C’est dans ce cadre qu’a eu lieu, mardi à Lomé, le concours d’entrée à l’École africaine d’architecture et d’aménagement urbain (EAMAU) , une institution panafricaine fondée en 1975. Le ministre de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche, Kanka Malick Natachaba , s’est rendu sur place pour superviser le bon déroulement des épreuves et encourager les candidats.
