On September 20, 2024, members of the Upper East Regional House of Chiefs unanimously re-elected Pe Ditundini Adiali Ayagitam III as President and Naaba Anonsona Abisa Anthony Atasige III as Vice President. Pe Adiali, the Paramount Chief of the Chiana Traditional Area, and Naaba Anonsona, the Paramount Chief of the Mirigu Traditional Area, presented their manifestos, showcasing their past achievements and future plans.Pe Adiali highlighted the successful renovation of the Regional House of Chiefs, transforming it into a facility worthy of its status.
