Iran urges UN Security Council to act to stop war with US and Israel

Iran has called on the United Nations Security Council to take urgent action to halt what it describes as a “war” waged against it by the United States and Israel. Tehran’s appeal came after days of heavy US Israeli airstrikes that killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other senior officials, followed by Iranian missile and drone attacks across the region, including on a US embassy in Saudi Arabia. Venezuela, Russia, China and UK voices urge US to free Maduro

Venezuela, Russia, China and political voices in the United Kingdom have called on the United States to release Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, after their capture in a US military operation over the weekend. China urges US to immediately free captured Venezuelan president Maduro
