UCC Wins 28th GUSA Games with 48 Medals.
The University of Cape Coast (UCC) dominated the 28th Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Games, hosted at its sports complex, with an impressive haul of 48 medals. UCC secured 18 gold, 14 silver, and 16 bronze medals across events such as volleyball, hockey, basketball, netball, tennis, and athletics.The University of Ghana (UG) placed second with 39 medals, while Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) followed in third with 35 medals. Debutants, including the University for Business and Integrated Development Studies (UBIDS), left a mark with their performances.The event showcased the growing competitiveness and talent within Ghanaian universities.
