In Ho, a fierce clash broke out during the swearing-in ceremony for new leaders of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) Branch 2. The new executives, elected in April 2022, were finally sworn in on Monday amid tense resistance from outgoing leaders who had blocked the office building. Police intervened after the outgoing leaders, who had delayed the transition for over two years through legal challenges, attempted to prevent the ceremony. National GPRTU representatives declared the new officials, urging peaceful cooperation to enhance service efficiency.
