Commuters Decry Hazardous Potholes on Kaneshie-Kasoa Highway
The Kaneshie-Kasoa Highway, a vital corridor connecting Accra to the Central Region, has become increasingly treacherous due to deteriorating road conditions. Commuters and drivers are raising alarms over numerous potholes and gullies that not only impede traffic flow but also endanger lives, especially during peak hours and inclement weather. Affected Areas and ImpactSignificant portions of the Dr. Busia Highway, stretching from Kaneshie First Light through Mallam Interchange to Kasoa, are riddled with deep potholes and eroded sections. Notably, the inner lane near the Total Filling Station at Mallam has developed massive gullies, forcing vehicles to converge onto fewer lanes and causing traffic backups extending to Odorkor.
