Dodome Traditional Area Celebrates Agadzi Festival 2024.
The Dodome Traditional Area in the Ho West District of Ghana’s Volta Region celebrated its annual Agadzi Festival on November 9, culminating in a vibrant gathering of chiefs, queens, and traditional leaders dressed in colorful regalia. The week-long festivities ended on November 10 with a Thanksgiving church service.At the grand durbar, Togbega Kpangbatriku IV, the Paramount Chief, announced plans to use the festival as a platform to raise funds for a new traditional council building. Once completed, Togbega Kpangbatriku IV intends to focus on promoting Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to benefit the youth in the area.
