Titus Glover Warns Against Unauthorized Structures at Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange.
The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, has reinforced the government’s commitment to maintaining the beauty and functionality of the newly inaugurated Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange.At the launch of Phase II of the interchange on November 29, 2024, he issued a strong warning against the establishment of unauthorized structures, including kiosks, wooden shops, and mechanic workshops, near the infrastructure.Citing a similar situation at the Flower Pot Interchange, where informal vendors quickly encroached despite warnings, Titus Glover emphasized the need for residents and business owners to respect the space. "Let us not put anything here. Allow the ambiance and the beauty of the place to continue," he stated.The minister urged residents to support the government’s efforts to improve Accra’s infrastructure and preserve its aesthetics for the benefit of the community.
