Heavy Airstrikes Hit Gaza City Amid Famine Warnings
Gaza City has come under heavy bombardment for three consecutive days, according to the Hamas-run civil defence agency, as Israeli forces prepare to occupy the city. Mahmud Bassal, the agency’s spokesperson, reported that residential areas in Zeitoun and Sabra were hit by bombs and drone strikes causing massive destruction to civilian homes. Residents have been unable to recover the dead and injured due to the continuous shelling.
