The incident occurred on January 9, 2025, when the children were playing in their home.According to reports, the children climbed into the drum in the family’s kitchen and asked their younger sister to close the lid. Unfortunately, she was unable to open it again when they became trapped inside. The children were discovered unconscious and rushed to the Takoradi Government Hospital, but they were pronounced dead on arrival.The police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances of the incident, with early findings suggesting the children’s play led to the tragic accident.
