Cocoa farmers and chiefs in Ghana's Western North Region have hailed COCOBOD CEO, Joseph Boahen Aidoo, for his efforts to rehabilitate cocoa farms affected by diseases, especially the Cocoa Swollen Shoot Virus Disease (CSSVD).Under the Cocoa Rehabilitation Initiative, farmers have received free seedlings, fertilizers, and technical guidance, leading to significant improvements in cocoa yields and quality.
