Taskmaster Simeone demands more defensive grit from Lookman
Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has challenged Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman to add more defensive grit and all round contribution to his game despite his explosive start at the club. Lookman has hit the ground running in Spain with four goals and two assists in his first few matches across competitions, matching Luis Suarez’s record for the best attacking start under Simeone. Simeone, known for his demanding standards, said Lookman currently gives the team “more goals than overall play” and must now improve his build up involvement and defensive discipline.
