President John Dramani Mahama has embarked on a diplomatic visit to The Gambia and Senegal to express gratitude for their leaders' presence at his recent inauguration.In Banjul, The Gambian capital, President Mahama was warmly received by President Adama Barrow at the airport and later hosted at a state luncheon. The two leaders held a private meeting to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and fostering closer ties between Ghana and The Gambia.Following his engagements in The Gambia, President Mahama is set to visit Senegal to meet President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye in Dakar. The trip underscores Ghana’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with neighboring West African countries.President Mahama will return to Ghana after concluding his discussions in Senegal.
