Actor Nkubi says his size made him unemployable
Actor and content creator Victor Udochukwu Nwaogu, popularly known as Nkubi, has opened up about facing stigma and rejection because of his physique. He said the challenges he experienced in finding work pushed him towards acting. In a recent podcast, Nkubi recalled that after secondary school he could not get minor jobs like his peers. He said that was when the reality of being a little person truly hit him, even though as a child he only knew he was different without fully understanding it. Nkubi also revealed that his daughter is now facing similar attacks from internet trolls who mock her size online.
