Adamawa ADC gets harmonised executives after prolonged crisis
The Adamawa State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has inaugurated a new harmonised Executive Council after months of bitter leadership crisis and parallel factions. Party leaders say the new line‑up is the product of an internal reconciliation process aimed at restoring unity and ending rancour in the state chapter. The new exco has Yohannah Shehu as chairman, Mohammed Suleiman as deputy chairman, Zubairu Ishaq as secretary and Japhet Pamassa as assistant secretary. Former caretaker chairman Malam Saidu Komsiri is now the organising secretary, assisted by Yakubu Hamza, while Alhaji Ali Muhammad is treasurer and Mrs Alheri Hycent serves as deputy treasurer. The 44‑member executive also includes Sadam Bororo as financial secretary and Aisha Dambo as assistant financial secretary.
