Accra Sports Stadium Approved to Host Ghana vs Sudan AFCON Qualifier
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially approved the Accra Sports Stadium to host Ghana's 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Matchday 3 qualifier against Sudan. This decision came after a thorough inspection of both the Cape Coast and Accra stadiums. In a letter to GFA General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo, CAF confirmed that the Group F qualifier, scheduled for October 11, 2024, will be held at the Accra Sports Stadium. The GFA and stadium management have been urged to focus on improving the pitch and other key areas to ensure an excellent experience for the players and fans.
