Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has shared his heartfelt disappointment over the Black Stars’ failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).In a reflective Facebook post, Okraku described the team's journey from the pride of securing a spot in the 2022 FIFA World Cup to the heartbreak of this historic AFCON absence."My heart bleeds," he wrote, acknowledging the pain felt by fans and stakeholders. He called for patience, unity, and honest reflection to rebuild Ghanaian football.Despite widespread criticism, Okraku maintained optimism, promising, "We will rise from this temporary setback. It shall be well."The GFA is set to meet on Wednesday to discuss the way forward amid calls for reform and accountability.
