W’Cup Mishap: Green Passes Vote of No Confidence in Administrators

Rivers State Commissioner for Sports, Barrister Chris Green, has harshly criticised Nigerian football administrators at The Big Sports Dialogue in Lagos following the Super Eagles’ disappointing World Cup playoff exit. Green described the nation’s football leadership as incompetent, arguing that a lack of technical expertise and recycling of the same unqualified personnel are holding back the sport’s progress. Nathaniel Johnson, President of the Ghana Karate-Do Federation, is contesting for one of three co-opted member slots on the new GOC Board, bringing with him a strong track record of hands-on leadership and a passion for institutional accountability.
