Sound of Music Headlines CDM Eket’s Maiden Concert
The Eket branch of Chorale De La Magnifique (CDM) will host its first-ever concert on November 30, 2025, at Joddag Hotel and Suites, Marina, Eket, Akwa Ibom. Led by founder and music director Dr Ike Eseka, the choir promises a vibrant blend of songs from the 1965 musical ‘The Sound of Music’, alongside ‘Songs of the Birth of Our Lord Jesus’ and Christmas carols in local Nigerian languages. The free musical celebration aims to uplift the festive spirit through elegant harmonies, classical excellence, and African rhythms. The concert’s inclusive approach welcomes music lovers, families, and friends, with live streaming on YouTube and Facebook for anyone unable to attend in person.
