Solar Power Offers New Hope to Domangburi in Savannah Region.
In a significant development for Domangburi, a village in the Sawla Tuna Kalba District of Ghana’s Savannah Region, solar power has finally arrived. For the first time, the entire community has been equipped with solar energy, ending their reliance on firewood, flashlights, and oil lamps.The initiative, led by 350 Ghana Reducing Our Carbon (350 GROC) through its Renewable Energy for Communities Campaign, has brought 65 solar panels and bulbs to Domangburi. Additionally, three solar streetlights were installed at the local school and market.
