Sunyani West Assembly Supports Persons with Disabilities.
In the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region, 19 individuals with disabilities have received essential items valued at GHS 39,400 to help them achieve financial independence. This initiative is part of the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF), aimed at addressing the various needs of persons with disabilities.The beneficiaries were provided with refrigerators, sewing machines, industrial equipment, as well as support for school fees and medical bills. Additionally, they received startup capital intended to create sustainable income opportunities, recognizing their potential contributions to the local economy.During the presentation, Municipal Chief Executive Mr. Evans Kusi Boadum emphasized that this support is part of broader efforts to reduce unemployment among individuals with disabilities and to enhance their quality of life while promoting inclusivity.
