Kaduna Police Begin Shooting Exercise, Advise Residents to Stay Clear
he Kaduna State Police Command has announced that it will conduct a live shooting exercise for recruits and has urged residents to steer clear of the designated area. The Command’s spokesperson, DSP Mansir Hassan, said in a statement on Monday that the exercise will take place from August 19 to 20 at the Amanan Kasuwa Shooting Range Ground, located along Mararaban Jos–Panbegua Road in Igabi Local Government Area. Hassan explained that the exercise is part of the training for recruit constables at the Police College, Kaduna. He cautioned residents and commuters near the area to avoid the marked zone during the exercise. “The public should not panic over the sound of gunfire.
