NAHCON Airlifts 14,165 Pilgrims in Five Days, Achieves 34.4% Hajj Target

Record-Breaking Airlift Progress The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has achieved a milestone in this year’s Hajj operations, airlifting 14,165 pilgrims —34.4% of the total target —within five days. This marks a significant improvement from 2023, when only 20.2% (9,788 pilgrims) were transported during the same period. State-by-State Update Completed Airlifts: Oyo, Abia, Kogi, and Nasarawa States have concluded their pilgrim transportation. Ongoing Operations: Ondo and Ekiti States are preparing for final combined flights to ensure all pilgrims depart seamlessly.
