FBI Releases Video of Charlie Kirk’s Shooter, Recovers Weapons
The FBI’s Salt Lake City Field Office on Friday released video footage of the suspected gunman who fatally shot conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. According to the bureau, the video shows the suspect climbing onto a rooftop before the attack, then leaping off and fleeing after firing the fatal shots. Investigators later discovered the weapon and ammunition used in the killing in a wooded area near the university. The FBI wrote on X: “Around 12 pm Mountain Time on September 10, the subject climbed up to a rooftop; after he shot and killed Charlie Kirk, he jumped off and ran away.
