Tinubu urges Christians, Muslims to deepen unity as Lent, Ramadan start same day
President Bola Tinubu has called on Christians and Muslims to use the rare coincidence of Lent and Ramadan starting on the same day this year as a fresh opportunity to deepen unity, peace and mutual respect in Nigeria. He described the simultaneous commencement of the two holy seasons as an uncommon event that underlines the shared values of sacrifice, devotion and compassion at the heart of both faiths.
