Trump Gaza peace board eyes 1 billion dollar fees
A draft charter for United States President Donald Trump’s proposed Gaza Board of Peace asks member countries to pay 1 billion dollars if they want their membership to last more than three years. The document was sent to about 60 countries and sets out rules for how long states can serve on the body. Under the draft, each member would normally serve a term of up to three years from the date the charter takes effect. The term can be renewed by the board chairman, but the three year limit does not apply to any country that contributes more than 1 billion dollars in cash to the board within the first year.
