Six Killed, Eight Wounded in Deadly Palestinian Gunmen Attack
Six people were killed and eight others wounded in one of the deadliest shooting attacks Jerusalem has seen in recent years. The assault was carried out by Palestinian gunmen at Ramot Junction, on the northern edge of the city. According to Israeli police, “two terrorists arrived in a vehicle” and opened fire on a crowded bus stop. An off-duty soldier and a civilian returned fire, killing the attackers on the spot. Israeli media confirmed the victims included five men, aged 25 to 79, and a 60-year-old woman. Local hospitals reported that two of the wounded remain in critical condition. While no group immediately claimed responsibility, Hamas praised the attack.
