Ridge Hospital Assault: Probe Finds No Medical Evidence
The committee investigating the recent Ridge Hospital assault incident has concluded that there is no medical evidence to support claims that Rejoice Tsotso Bortei, a rotation nurse, suffered a shoulder dislocation during the altercation. The findings were presented to Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh on Wednesday, August 27. The nurse had initially reported wrist fractures and a shoulder dislocation, but the Committee Chairman, Dr. Lawrence Ofori-Boadu, revealed that medical assessments showed otherwise. “There was no evidence of fracture on her left wrist or dislocation of her right shoulder joint as documented by the medical records,” Dr. Ofori-Boadu explained.
