Actress Tonto Dikeh says her finances have grown significantly since she fully dedicated her life to God, rejecting the idea that deep faith leads to poverty.​ In a post on Instagram, she said her experience since surrendering to God has been the opposite of financial struggle, describing what she called undeniable provision, increase and timely help, often through complete strangers.
