Al Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has left Saudi Arabia for Madrid amid escalating US–Iran tensions and drone attacks that have hit targets in the kingdom and across the Gulf. Flybird Confirms All Passengers Safe After Kano Airport Incident

Flybird Aircraft Management Services Limited has confirmed an operational incident involving one of its aircraft during landing at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano State. The jet, identified in reports as operating a flight from Abuja, encountered difficulties on arrival before being safely brought to a stop on Sunday morning.​ In a statement issued by the company’s General Manager, Dr Tracy Wilson, Flybird said the flight crew followed all established operational and safety procedures throughout the event. The airline stressed that the aircraft was controlled to a safe stop and that emergency protocols were executed in line with regulatory requirements.​ No fewer than 11 people, including three crew members, were on board the private jet at the time of the incident.
