St Vincent College Principal Resigns Amid Appointment Controversy.

Prof. Jonas Kwabla Fiadzawoo, Principal of St Vincent College of Education in Yendi, has resigned just two months after his controversial appointment, which led to the closure of the college. In his resignation letter to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), Prof. Fiadzawoo cited the community's disapproval of his appointment as the reason for stepping down, emphasizing the importance of respecting local sentiments.The college had been shut down on the orders of the Overlord of Dagbon, Ya-Na Abukari II, following protests against the board’s decision to appoint Prof. Fiadzawoo instead of a local candidate.
