A fatal accident on the Vakpo-Aneta road in the Volta Region’s North Dayi Constituency claimed the life of 16-year-old Pascaline Adadevoh, a recent graduate of Cornerstone Preparatory School and her mother’s only child. The vehicle involved was reportedly transporting political party materials to the Oti Region when it struck Pascaline, leaving the Aneta community in deep grief.Following the incident, tensions escalated in the village as residents tried to confront those in the vehicle. Police intervention prevented further unrest, and a delegation led by the Kpando Divisional Police Commander later visited Pascaline’s family to extend their condolences.Authorities have since launched an investigation into the accident, aiming to bring clarity and justice as the community mourns.
