Protests as Plateau community buries seven attack victims
Seven victims of a recent terror attack in the Nche Shwyie Rishi community of Bassa Local Government Area in Plateau State have been laid to rest amid tears and protests by residents. The funeral was held in the community on Friday, with family members, neighbours, and sympathisers attending to pay their last respects. Mourners wept openly as the coffins were lowered, while youths and community members used the event to protest what they described as repeated attacks and slow response from security agencies.
