Nigerian stars Burna Boy and Rema were among the biggest winners at the 9th All Africa Music Awards held at Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos. The 2026 edition drew leading artistes, Nollywood actors and industry executives from across Africa to celebrate the continent’s top music talents. Rema walked away as one of the most decorated acts of the night with three major awards. He won Artiste of the Year, Best Male Artiste in Western Africa, and Best African Artiste, Duo or Group in African RnB and Soul for his global hit Calm Down. Burna Boy also enjoyed a strong outing, clinching Album of the Year for his project No Sign of Weakness.
