Baba Dee: Nigeria needs steady agitation, not riots
Nigerian singer and filmmaker Baba Dee has called for constant, organised agitation rather than violent riots as citizens push for better governance. He said Nigerians should keep demanding accountability, but must do so in ways that do not destroy lives, property or the economy. Baba Dee explained that peaceful protests, public debates, legal action and sustained civic engagement are more effective than sporadic riots. He warned that violence often gives the authorities an excuse to clamp down on protesters and ignore their genuine demands.
