USA Funds Renovation of Upper East Regional Peace Council Office.

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) has contributed $75,000 (1,162,000 Ghana Cedis) to renovate the Upper East Regional Peace Council (UERPC) office. This renovation aims to enhance the UERPC's capacity to promote peace and stability in the Upper East Region by addressing conflicts through dialogue, mediation, and other non-violent methods.On July 25, the UERPC Secretary, Ali Anankpieng, received the keys to the newly renovated office.
